Overall Job Purpose:

To deliver against specific commercial sales objectives for the promoted portfolio and contribute to the profitability of designated local health economy accounts utilising KAM principles. Additionally, to turn NHS policy into insightful and actionable opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or with relevant vocational experience 
  • ABPI code of practice exam
Experience:
  • Significant experience and proven track record in pharmaceutical sales in both primary and secondary care roles or relevant experience working in the NHS
  • Preferred experience of working in a healthcare liaison role
Knowledge:
  • UK healthcare environment

Main Responsibilities

  • To negotiate, sell and implement marketing strategy with all relevant customers and partners
  • To achieve and exceed sales targets for designated geographical area by ensuring each team member delivers against their individual actions within the Key Account Management plan
  • To create/maintain relationships with Stakeholders to a high level to ensure that mutually beneficial objectives are achieved
  • To develop mutually beneficial strategic collaborations with external/NHS organisations
  • To create, update and monitor Key Account Management plans 
  • Submit monthly reports and all other specified administration and CRM requirements as detailed by line manager and Mandates
  • To be cognisant of the customers’ agendas seeking ways of working collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes for the patients, NHS and Teva
  • Other duties as required at the direction of the Line Manager
  • To work with designated secondary care stakeholders , payers and  emerging customers alongside  other specific groups who will drive the agenda to work the whole system approach
